Go Local, Buy Apples, & Support Your Community this November
We are excited to be partnering with the The Co-op this November for two fantastic fall harvest, apple-packed events!
Guest Chef Dinner
Join us on November 8 from 5 - 7 pm for a Guest Chef dinner with The Co-op featuring local, fall harvest veggies, meats & lots of apples!
Co-op guest chefs Kelly Walunis and Lori Petermann will prepare a special apple-inspired menu:
Local Pork Stew with Fresh Sage and Montana Apples (served over soft polenta)
Local Butternut Squash Soup
Greens topped with Blue Cheese, Apples and Candied Nuts
Local Veggie and Apple Pizza
Apple Walnut Cardamom Spice Cake
Hot Apple Cider (made from apples pressed by Rocky Creek Farm of Gallatin Valley Botanical).
Co-op Local Pork Donation
The menu features pork from locally-raised hogs purchased by the Co-op at the 4-H Junior Livestock Market Sale. The hogs were raised by Lane and Sage Smart.
The Co-op is proud to partner on this event with Pioneer Meats of Big Timber, who graciously processed the animal free of charge as a supporter of this event.
Whatever pork is not used on this dinner will be donated to the Fork & Spoon for other meals throughout the year.

An Apple a Day...
In addition, support Fork & Spoon all month long by purchasing apples at The Co-op! Throughout the month of November, The Co-op will be donating 10 cents of every bulk apple sold (at both locations!) to Fork & Spoon. So - eat your apples, support your local businesses, and help feed your community!
