The Mighty Spork Food Truck
We are proud to introduce the first and only Pay-What-You-Can food truck in Montana! The Mighty Spork is a mobile version of Fork & Spoon. Our primary goal is to provide affordable meals to community members who live in more rural areas, outside of Bozeman. Utilizing the innovative “pay-what-you-can” model, we are able to provide meals at low or no cost to families and individuals who are in need of food resources, while simultaneously allowing community members who have the means to easily support our efforts. We will also use the truck as a way to increase exposure and bring in additional revenue to support Fork & Spoon.

How does it work?
It may sound like there’s a catch, but the concept is really quite simple; you pay what you can for the meal. There will be suggested prices, but folks are welcome to pay whatever they are able, whether that’s $1 or $100, and to “pay it forward” for someone else if they can. We believe that the mobile aspect of the Mighty Spork will allow us to successfully operate in a wide variety of areas. This will be advantageous; if a certain area does not prove out, we can simply move the truck!
Who does it serve?
The Spork is meant to be a true community resource. While we look forward to providing increased food security to folks in rural towns outside of Bozeman (who may be unable to drive into Bozeman to eat at the Fork & Spoon regularly), we also look forward to attending local festivals, markets, partnering with companies and faith-based organizations.
How can I help?
We are seeking Sponsors for the Mighty Spork! Sponsors will have their logo printed on the back of the truck as well as on our website. A Spork Sponsor will guarantee that thousands of people will have increased food security over the course of a year. Spork Sponsorships are also particularly important due to the unpredictable nature of vehicles. Having sponsorship funds will allow us to better plan for the unexpected, and get back on the road quickly in the event of a mechanical issue, so we can get back to feeding our neighbors.
